Fukui Castle Ruins
In Japanese: 福井城址

Site of Fukui Castle, built in 1606 by Yuki Hideyasu, second son of Tokugawa Ieyasu. Stone walls and moats remain; the prefectural office stands on the main enclosure, and below the keep base is the 'Fuku-no-i' well said to have given Fukui its name.
