- Walking hours are 7:30-17:00 (there is no lighting). As of October 2026, two trail sections are closed with no reopening date set: Yokokawa entrance to Yoshigahara and the Sandan-daki fork (open only on days the Sarutobi ferry runs), and Sandan-daki to Mochinoki entrance.
