Hoshizuna-no-hama Beach (Iriomote)

A beach on the west coast of Iriomote where star-shaped sand can be found. Swimming and snorkeling are possible; the waves are calm, with many large rocks and small fish.

- Iriomote Kotsu route bus, get off at "Hoshizuna Beach" stop (about 7 min from the Uehara stop)

- The route bus runs 4 round trips a day on the winter timetable (revised Oct 2026): toward Shirahama from Uehara at 9:05, 11:07, 14:35, 16:48; toward Toyohara from Hoshizuna Beach at 7:38, 10:10, 13:12, 15:52. Buses do not connect with ferry times and do not enter Uehara Port (use the Uehara stop).
