Sonohyan Utaki Ishimon Gate
In Japanese: 園比屋武御嶽石門

A limestone gate beside Shureimon where the Ryukyuan king prayed for a safe journey before leaving the castle. It is a place of worship, not a passage. Built in 1519, it was partly destroyed in the Battle of Okinawa and restored in 1957.
